Hello and welcome to an exciting new episode of ‘Photo of the week’ where I, your host, will be pretending this is a game show and not a blog.
I’m bored of that now.
This photo was taken with my new Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM SUPER Wide Angle lens in The West Park in South Shields at around 6:15pm. I was basically looking for ways to show the potential of the lens when I spotted this feather. Normally, I tend to photograph objects as they are, rather than create a shot, however I was after a specific style of shot this time and so positioned the feather, thought ‘just this once wont hurt’ ; and it didnt.
This is probably one of my best photographs or better ones anyway. So, I’ll be uploading this one to Alamy and hopefully make some money from it. If not though, I think it’ll look good in my galleries on my site.
